Composition of the AQUA.UV® CIPP
RELINE APTEC has developed the AQUA.UV®CIPP liner especially for the renovation of potable water pipes. The AQUA.UV®CIPP is a GRP hose liner made of specially tested material components like fibreglas and styrene free VE resin that have its approval for all applications in the drinking water and food grade sector.
Due to the special in-house development of a so called wrapping method the composition of the liner construction point out high stiffness modulus and high axial/radial stabilities.
The GRP hose liner AQUA.UV®CIPP is based on a DIN EN ISO 11295 Class A system an independant, full statical load bearing liner absorbing operating pressures (up to 16 bar or 232 PSI).
To optimize the the liner inner-surface in regard of abrasion resistance and evenness the AQUA.UV®CIPP inludes a special internal, seamless, and superior multilayer thermoplastic coating with a strong bond to the fibreglas construction.
Proprietary development in the potable water pipes needs APTEC has a suitable AQUA.UV500 UV curing technology which allows very economically installation length up to 500 meters in one shot independant from the liner dimension. Specially for that water pressure pipe application the UV light spectrum is designed for a perfect cure of the resin and beside this to allow an aseptic installation.
